So Glad 2 Be Me After School Program
Words 2 Live By
This "completely unique" after school program offers girls a safe space to gather with others who share their interests, their challenges and their desire to learn new things.
The program is designed to help girls discuss the daily "drama" that can influence friendships, self esteem, thoughts of "where I fit in" and everyday challenges. Each session will combine group discussions and creative expression through journalling and scrapbooking.
Most importantly, girls will continue to build self esteem, self acceptance and a toolbox to manage challenges.
In it's simplicity, the program is designed to help girls recognize and express their inner thoughts, feelings and emotions. Through interactive and art-based activities girls develop tools and skills for lifelong critical thinking and reflection.
Participants will not only develop great friendships, writing skills and insightful thinking skills but will also create an incredible "Words 2 Live By" Mini Album .
The fun will officially kick off on:

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Cost: $120 for 6 weeks - includes all supplies, instruction, after-school snacks/drinks, take home projects

3:45 pm - 5:30 pm
Cost: $66 for 6 weeks - includes all supplies, instruction, weekly taxi & final take home project
